Just Say YEP

This campaign launched in September 2020 to encourage young people across Fenland and East Cambs to sign up for their voice to be heard. By signing up young people can become involved with their district Youth Advisory Board and / or respond to consultation requests from partner organisations ensuring that outcomes for children and young people can be improved.

We would really like all secondary schools in Fenland and East Cambs to sign up to support the Just Say YEP campaign. By signing up you agree to:

• Promoting ‘Just say YEP’ and YAB membership to all students
• Sharing consultation surveys with students
• Nominate at least one member of the school student council to attend the YAB board meetings
• Nominate a staff representative to attend full board meetings
• Display a Youth Engagement banner at school

Consultation

Your school may have already supported a Youth Advisory Board student consultation, in which case thank you very much. The intention is for the YAB to create a consultation on an annual basis to ensure as many young people as possible are given their chance to have their say on issues that affect them. Please complete the contact form below to ensure we are sending these consultations to the right person in your school. We will provide you with feedback of the results.
